Guide to Ordering a Custom Ring
Here at Wedgewood Rings, I have the ability to make the custom ring of your dreams with nearly any material. Below, you can see some past custom projects I have worked on. Many are made with customer-sourced military aircraft parts. Other examples would include a ring made from the wood of an old house, a ring made with sand from the honeymooners’ beach, a ring made from a tree on the family farm, or a ring made with a Louisville Slugger bat, and many more.
Feel free to reach out with your custom idea in the below form at the bottom of the page. To see my pre designed made to order rings click here.
Military Metals
Ever since I made the SR-71 Blackbird Titanium and USS North Carolina Deck Teak custom project, I have managed to accidentally become the go-to artisan for custom aviation and military rings. Other examples in this gallery include: F/A-18 Hornet Gun Barrel and USS North Carolina Deck Teak Ring; Steel from an expended 25 HE round with Afghan Sheesam wood; Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk Steel Bearing Ring; and a C-130 Hercules Engine Mount and Whiskey Barrel Ring. All of these materials are sourced by the customer.
Special Objects
Another common request I get for a custom ring involves wood from what I like to call the “special object.” Pictured in this section: wood from a skateboard deck; teak wood from a USS Missouri (BB-63) commemorative plaque; wood from a wine barrel; wood from a Louisville Slugger bat; a ring with a Gibson headstock interior; and finally perhaps one of the most unique projects I’ve ever done, a titanium ring inlaid with hair from a deceased family pet.
If you have a material you want inlaid into a ring, or if you just want to explore the possiblities, use the from below to contact me.
