This wooden ring has a 1mm offset of 14k gold inlay.

The inner liner of this ring is made from a genuine used Jack Daniels® Whiskey white oak barrel. Almost as much work goes into perfecting the barrel as does perfecting the iconic American whiskey. Carefully selected American White Oak is slowly dried outdoors for nearly a year. After being exposed to the rain and sun, it is kiln dried, assembled, and then charred to release the naturally occurring flavors that will be imparted to the whiskey. Though the blanks reek of whiskey, the final products (sadly, from an authenticity perspective) have no odor, having been sealed with finish.

Over the years customers have contacted me seeking a ring made with their favorite brand of whiskey, and they have even gone so far as to contact distilleries and source their own staves (something I invite you to do, if you want a completely personalized ring, or if you have some reason to doubt the provenance of my stock). They have always been very accommodating and enthusiastic. As a result, I have amassed barrel wood from many distilleries including Jack Daniels®, Woodford Reserve, Maker's Mark, Buffalo Trace, Jim Beam, Angel's Envy, Stranahan's, Four Roses, The Macallan, and finally Pappy Van Winkle. Unlike the other styles of rings in this shop, "channel" type rings will always have a seam in the wood. It MAY be visible, but certainly hard to detect 9 inches or so away, and completely invisible at any distance. I have made no effort to hide the seam in these pictures. If you have difficulty finding it, it is because it is subtle.

This ring is flanked by 6al-4v grade 5 titanium, preferred among jewelers.

Sizing

Titanium ring sizes run from 4 to 16 including quarter sizes. I highly recommend going to a jewelry counter to determine your size, even if you already know your size. "Do it yourself" ring sizing methods (string, etc.) should absolutely not be trusted. Be sure to be measured using the width you plan to order".

Titanium lined wood rings cannot be resized at all! Every ring is made to the exact size provided. An error in sizing that exceeds the margin provided above will necessitate a completely new ring. Refunds and exchanges will not be possible.

Each ring is given multiple coats of a hybrid epoxy finish, which is completely water-proof and soap proof. This protective coating is sanded up to 12,000 grit for an unbelievable, glass-like finish.
